Raul Ibanez to the DL; Mayberry Recalled

The Phillies have placed Raul Ibanez on the 15 day DL this morning. Ibanez is listed with a strained left groin.

John Mayberry Jr. has been called up from triple A Lehigh Valley to fill his roster spot.

Losing Ibanez will hurt, especially since I was anticipating him to get back on track and produce this weekend against the Baltimore Orioles coming to town. Not having Ibanez in the lineup also will hurt Ryan Howard's production as there will be one less dependable bat either in front of him or behind him.
