I love games like this. Correction: I love games like this–when it’s the Sox doing the routing… And while That Clay Person wasn’t as sharp as he was in his last outing, with a 17 run offense behind him, he certainly pitched well enough. Going 5 2/3, throwing 109 pitches, 65 for strikes, Buchholz gave up 4 runs on 8 hits while walking 3 and striking out 2… And Youk, who was out of the lineup in the final game of the Cookie Debacle (as it will be forever known), obviously had no lingering effects from him groin pull, hitting a solo shot in his 1st at bat during Monday’s contest. He was intentionally walked, hit by a pitch, had an unintentional walk, and a double… And how bout Mike Lowell! In the lineup as DH because Joe Saunders was a left-hander, went 4-4 with three doubles and four RBIs…Yay! Scott Schoeneweis’ who pitched the 9th last night, threw 26 pitches, 14 for strikes–and gave up 4 runs on 4 hits while walking 2 and strikin...
