With most teams still close to a week away, the Red Sox won game one of their regular season this morning in the US, while it was evening in Japan, against the A's. It was not pretty, they were down 2-0; then went up 3-2 only to find themselves down 4-3 in less than an inning; then tied it at 4 with a Brandon Moss (RF) solo shot in the top of the 9th and he was a last minute replacement for the oft-injured J.D. Drew (back spasms).
