The Red Sox agreed to terms with Mike Aviles on a one-year, non-guaranteed contract Tuesday to avoid salary arbitration. The Boston Herald reports the deal is worth $1.2 million. Boston acquired Aviles, 30, from Kansas City before the trade deadline on July 30, 2011.
