The Red Sox have traded Mike Cameron to the Florida Marlins in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations. The team made the announcement Tuesday evening. Cameron was designated for assignment Thursday amid a dissapointing campaign in which he hit just .149 (14-for-94) with three home runs and nine RBIs in 33 games for Boston. The Marlins will be the eighth organization for Cameron, who is owed roughly $3.5 million for the rest of the season.
