Redding will start the season on DL

According to Adam Rubin of the Daily News, the Mets will start Tim Redding's season on the DL because of shoulder fatigue...

The Mets have three other candidates to fill the last and 5th spot in the rotation in the likes of  Freddie Garcia, Jon Niese, Livan Hernandez.

Livan Hernandez looks like the front runner followed by Jon Niese, trailing is Garcia..

If you missed it, Garcia got hammered in Lakeland yesterday... So it looking more obvious that it could be Hernandez....

The Other option might be to sign Pedro Martinez, but it seems the Mets are not interested.
