The Reds are on the verge of a blockbuster trade with the Cleveland Indians that would bring outfielder Shin-soo Choo and utility infielder Jason Donald to Cincinnati in exchange for CF Drew Stubbs and shortstop prospect Didi Gregorius.Choo will be a free agent after the 2013 season and will make roughly $7.5 million via arbitration this coming season. So, it's a one-year rental for the Reds until prized prospect Billy Hamilton is ready to take over as the leadoff hitter and centerfielder in 2014.That's right, even though Choo has been strictly a RF since briefly playing some CF in 2009, the Reds are bringing him to Cincinnati to play center and fill the leadoff hitter void. I like this deal very much. Stubbs is worthless in my book. It hurts to give up Gregorius, but the Reds believe Zack Cozart is the long-term answer at SS and I can live with that.I'll update this when the deal is official, but right now it looks like a good day for the Reds.
