The Cincinnati Reds have signed catcher
Dioner Navarro to a minor league deal
Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. Navarro will earn $800k in the majors and can earn an additional $200k in incentives.
Navarro hit .193 in his second stint with the Dodgers last season. He was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on August 23 as a result of his poor work ethic.

The Reds have clearly and rightly made the choice to acquire elite pitching this off-season over adding a big hitter to the lineup. Most Reds fans now eagerly await watching Mat Latos, Sean Marshall and Ryan Madson take the mound in a Reds uniform.
With the pitching upgrade accomplished, attention has now legitimately turned to the question of who else, if anyone, will play left...

NEW YORK (AP) -- Andre Ethier has agreed to a 10.95 million, one-year contact with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The deal was announced Tuesday by his representatives at Creative Artists Agency. He avoided salary arbitration and is eligible for free agency after this season.
In addition to his salary, he can earn 50,000 in performance bonuses: 25,000 each for 600 and 625 plate appearances...
