After a brief stint with the Red Sox, right-handed reliever Taylor Buchholz has signed with the New York Mets. Boston claimed Buchholz off waivers in November from the Toronto Blue Jays, but non-tendered his contract a few weeks later. The 29-year-old signed to a $600,000, non-guaranteed deal with the Mets on Monday. The contract also includes escalators and performance bonuses, according to the Associated Press.
