Reports out of San Francisco suggest the Giants may be willing to trade hard-throwing lefthander Jonathan Sanchez this offseason.The Giants could use a boost for their sagging lineup, which has been among the worst in the majors for several years.Sanchez is set to make about $6 million in the final year of his contract. The 29-year-old went 4-7 with a 4.26 ERA and 102 strikeouts in 101 1/3 innings this past season.Sanchez's best season came in 2010, when he went 13-9 with a 3.07 ERA and 205 strikeouts. He has spent his entire career with the Giants.
