Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux has worked some wonders in Texas and reports out of Boston indicate that the Red Sox front office may be interested to see what he can do in Boston in 2012 and beyond. The news that John Lackey will undergo Tommy John surgery and will miss 2012 might look somewhat positive at first glance.
