Report: Red Sox Acquire Catcher Mike McKenry in Trade for Pitcher Daniel Turpen

Though most peoples' eyes are set firmly on Opening Day, Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein is not done yet. Epstein has traded reliever Daniel Turpen to the Rockies in exchange for catcher Mike McKenry, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post. The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham also reported the trade. McKenry appeared in six major league games last year, going 0-for-8.
