In search of some last minute help for their rotation, the Red Sox had talks with the Mets about a deal which would have brought starting pitcher Chris Capuano to Boston just to make one start. The deal, which was originally reported by the Boston Herald fell through and Capuano started Thursday for the Mets, likely putting an end to all speculation.
