Although, Adam Dunn has had a lot of success as a power hitter in the major leagues and has made lot of money because of it, there have been questions in the past about his passion for the game. Now, that can be an internal issue or due to the fact that he’s been on bad teams for the majority of his career, with the latter being the case with the 56-81 Chicago White Sox this season. According to a Sports Illustrated report, the White Sox slugger, admitted that he’s harboring doubts as to whether he’ll return next season, although, he’s set to make $15 million next season and is just 64 home runs shy of 500 for his career. “I’m not coming back just to come back for money or because I have one year left (on his contract),” Dunn told FOX Sports.com.  “I’m not coming back to chase home-run numbers or whatever. If I end up with 499 and I’m not having fun, see ya — 499 it is. I’ll start working out (during the offseason), start hitting,” Dunn said. “It’ll be the same. I’m presuming that I’m going to dread starting. Then, once you get into it, (you realize) it is fun again. I remember that. Then I’ll go to spring training and go from there. If I’m not having fun, if it’s not a normal-feeling baseball season, then I’m out.”
