The New York Yankees are reportedly looking into voiding Alex Rodriguez’s contract after his name appeared in a Miami newspaper accusing Rodriguez of once again using performance enhancing drugs according to ESNPNew York.
According to a source, the Yankees “are looking at about 20 different things,” in an attempt to find if A-Rod’s actions may have breached his contract with the team.
Rodriguez will reportedly miss at least the first six months of the season and, according to GM Brian Cashman, he may miss the entire 2013 season.
Alex Rodriguez is owed $114 million over the next four years, a contract the Yankees would love to get out from under.
