Report: Yankees Sign Reliever Scott Proctor to Minor League Deal

It's all coming full-circle now for relief pitcher Scott Proctor, who began his career with the New York Yankees and now has a chance to don pinstripes once again. The Yankees have signed Proctor to a minor-league contract, Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News reported on Twitter. Feinsand added that Proctor will play for New York's Triple-A affiliate Scranton either Monday or Tuesday. The 34-year-old played for the Yankees for four years, and then briefly joined the Dodgers before heading to Atlanta in 2010. The Braves released Proctor earlier in the week.
