Last night at the BBWAA dinner in New York City, Marlins SS Jose Reyes was honored with the Good Guy Award. According to the Daily News, “Reyes was cheered by fans in the audience when he was introduced,” and said to Mets fans in the audience: “I know I am not going to be here no more, but I appreciate all the support you gave me all these years.” In regards to Terry Collins, Reyes said, “He made me a better player this year and a better person,” according to Brian Costa of the Wall Street Journal.
