After dropping the first two, the Padres were hoping to take one from the Dodgers on Sunday, but a call shrouded in controversy might have prevented them from doing so. Looking to put two runs in scoring position with a sac bunt, Jesus Guzman bunted the ball foul. Or so was the initial call by home plate umpire Dale Scott. But after the Dodgers whipped the ball around the infield and the dust settled, it was ruled a triple play and the inning over, killing the Padres best chance at winning the game. The Padres will head to Colorado looking for answers on how to turn around this rough start to 2012. Below is a recap of the tough series in Los Angeles that was bookeneded by brutal walk-off losses.
