On Sunday, the pitcher formerly known as Fausto Carmona returned to the Cleveland Indians clubhouse and was welcomed with terrific prank. Roberto Hernandez, aka Fausto Carmona, was given three birthday cakes, one for each year he missed, and a name plate on his locker that read "No Name", which are for new players. Hernandez was arrested in January in his home country of the Dominican Republic for identity fraud. He went by the name Fausto Carmona and was three years older than originally thought. The prank was orchestrated by Indians pitcher Justin Masterson and was something he thought of back in Spring Training. "Its nice to see a friendly face and have a good guy back," Masterson said. "He can finally be himself. Literally." Hernandez did apologize his Indian teammates and Indian fans saying, "I want to say I'm sorry. I thank God I am here and have been given a new chance." Hernandez will be eligible to play for the Indians when his suspension is lifted on August 11.
