When the Phillies faced the Rockies back in the beginning of April they were a dismal team heading towards playing bottom dwelling baseball that would lead to their manager being fired. Since then Colorado has flipped the script and become one of the hottest teams in baseball and a serious contender for the NL Wild Card. Phils are fresh off of a scorching month of July, but have started August most disappointingly.
