Roy Oswalt has been atrocious as a starter since coming over to the Texas Rangers about a month ago. This has resulted in him being assigned to the bullpen; an area which he has excelled having pitched 4 strong innings without surrendering a run in the past two games. The problem is when asked to come out for one more inning in a tie ball game yesterday he refused to do so because he claimed to have pitched to many innings over the past week.
I call BS and its nothing more then a spoiled athlete used to getting what he wants not wanting to accept his role coming out of the pen. My IntheOT Podcast breaks it all down:
