In lockstep with Tim Brown’s piece at Yahoo! that states the Phillies will enter a “partial rebuild”, word from the Boston Globe’s Nick Cafardo came out today that the Kansas City Royals have begun internally discussing acquiring Chase Utley. • The problem is not Utley or Young. The HUGE problem is Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins and an awful bullpen. Utley and Young are productive. The bullpen has Rich Dubee as a pitching coach. The rest of the offense has Steve Henderson as a hitting coach. Money wasted on all and the Philly fans have to pay for the mistakes. People aren't going to the games now...
  • Still drawing 38K to a game. Who says people are not going to Phillies games? Wally Joiner is also a hitting coach. Utley and Young are free at the end of the season. If the Phils can get something for them, do it.
