This is purely a speculative rumor, but considering what happened with CJ Wilson, why not?
As I broke Wednesday, CJ Wilson agreed in principle with the Angels. Twenty-four hours later, the rumor came to fruition. Wilson signed a 5-year contract with the LA Angels.
Now today, super Bob is back with Prince Fielder news.

Unlike Wilson, this is a shocker. I don’t see how the Rangers have that money; especially, with news that the Rangers want to extend Kinsler and Hamilton. As of now, the Rangers have 74 million guaranteed for 2012. They only have 40 million for 2013, but that is Hamilton’s walk year.
If Bob is right about this one then I will bow down and proclaim I’m not worthy. Until then, I remain a bit skeptical.
