It was a dominant Tim Lincecum, a Barry Zito curve ball, and an Edgar Renteria grand slam that helped the San Francisco Giants sweep the Colorado Rockies this past weekend.
No words can describe it...wait what am I talking about?
Two comeback grand slams, amazing pitching, awesome defensive plays, unsuspecting heroes, and add a little of that spice called drama and you get what the Giants and Rockies have done seven times in the last 10 days.
Now this is what we call exciting baseball!
Round one went to the Rockies who took three out of four in Colorado. And with three games ahead of the Giants, all the Rockies could do was add to their Wild Card lead when they came into San Francisco.
Round two went a little different and for the Giants, revenge is sweep.
It is simply amazing how so much can change within one week, because as it stands, San Francisco and Colorado are now tied for first place in the Wild Card standings.
