Reliever Jesse Crain whom manager Robin Ventura wanted to make at least one minor league rehabilitation appearance could rejoin the Sox on Sunday — three days before the July 31 non-waiver trading deadline. When asked Tuesday night why he no longer would require a stint in the minors for his rehabbing right shoulder Crain smiled "I don't know. I'm sure you know of a reason."
