Yankee fans have been focusing on their pitching woes - and rightfully so - but despite the fact that the team continues to score runs, the Yankees have not been hitting like they're capable either. A-Rod's torrid start allowed a lot of guys hide in the shadows early on, but now even A-Rod is struggling a bit, and it's made guys like Bobby Abreu and Robinson Cano seem all the more deficient. Abreu hit the ground running when he came over from Philly last season, but he's definitely showing his warts in 2007. Gary Sheffield might not look that horrible in right field right about now...

A-Rod has come back to earth but I'd hardly call it "struggling."

He has 1 homer in his last 65 at-bats, just 5 RBIs in the month of May (and zero in his last 5 games, batting .118 in that span as well). Not struggling? Okay, but no exactly rollin' either.
