Seattle Times:
Don't forget to read our interview with Jack Zduriencik in the prior post about his trade today for Milwaukee Brewers third baseman/outfielder Bill Hall. A report in SI.com says the Brewers will pick up $7.15 million of the $8.5 million in 2009 salary owed to Hall. That jives with what I've been told: that the M's barely had to pay anything in this deal.
As for tonight's game, Justin Verlander fanned the first two hitters he faced, then got a popout.
