Rockies Locker:
28-year old lefty swinging outfielder Seth Smith continues to be a productive player for the Rockies. He has played in 134 games for the Rockies so far this year and he is 124 of 435 (.285 avg, .842 OPS) with 62 runs scored, 15 homers, 57 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. Smith has now played in 474 games in his first five years in the majors and he is 343 of 1,244 (.276 avg, .837 OPS) with 195 runs scored, 51 homers, 179 RBIs and 17 stolen bases. The Rockies were smart to keep Seth Smith as a lot of teams were inquiring about him at the trade deadline.
