Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com says there is ten teams that have shown interest in Cuban pitcher Gerardo Concepcion. The Rangers, Yankees, Cubs and White Sox have expressed the most interest, but the San Francisco Giants have also been a team that have shown some interest. Concepcion’s agent says he has an offer on the table and is expected to sign a Major League contract within the next two weeks.   There hasn’t been any speculation that the Giants have made any contract offers, and I don’t see them making a run at him with ace Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain still on the front burner.   ~King of Cali (Steven) ———-——–—-——-——––———————-—————————————————- You can follow SF Giants Rumors Facebook page for more Giants updates! Tim Lincecum has signed a two year, $40.5M contract with a limited no-trade clause (Baggarly). $18M for 2012, $22M for 2013, $500K bonus (I still wonder what the accounting benefit to the Giants or Lincecum or both is, for having a bonus versus salary; does that go straight to Lincecum, avoiding the agent fee?) The Giants had offered $40M and Lincecum's side asked for $44M...
