The 2011 Pittsburgh Pirates Non-Roster invites to Spring Training is growing today after the Bucs reached deals Jose Veras and former Indians catcher Wyatt Yee-Haw Toregas. We will get the details together and post later tonight. The non-roster count is at 22 with 10 pitchers, three catchers, six center fielders, and three outfielders.
The Pirates have also invited Tony Sanchez, Chase d’Arnaud, Brian Friday, Andrew Lambo and Eric Fryer to Spring Training. Fryer will do some catching. Here is the updated non-roster invites:
