On Sunday, the football season officially ended. The only football news we will have until August will be free agency & the draft. That leaves us with two sports: Basketball & Hockey. But that’s only the case for (checks watch) 5 more days. In 5 short days, the first Major League Baseball team (the Seattle Mariners) report for spring training. A week after the rest of the teams begin to report. That’s right kids, baseball is right around the corner.
This year, I plan on paying more attention than in previous years to the Twins and the rest of the AL Central. After last year’s debacle that was the Minnesota Twins (and the offseason by the Tigers), I’m going to be hoping for some good news out of Florida. Looking at the roster, I doubt I’ll get it. Man can hope though.
