Rumors are coming in that the St. Louis Cardinals are shopping right handed starter Kyle Lohse so they could make a deep run at St. Louis native Mark Buerhle. This really doesn’t surprise me since Kyle Lohse is over rated, and Mark Buerhle wants to go home to finish his career, the question is are they going to be able to trade Lohse? Lohse isn’t outstanding and he’s overpaid so that’s always a tough sell. I think Mark Buerhle would be a great fit in that clubhouse, and a great fit on the field. I think it would immediately make the Cardinals better so it’s time to see what is on the plate of Mark Buerhle and where his loyalties stand.
