Today's profile is on outfielder Charlie Tilson who came to the Cardinals in the 2011 draft as a second round pick out of New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. Tilson was offered a baseball scholorship with the University of Illinois. Tilson will not turn 21 until December 2nd.
Charlie Tilson began his professional career in 2011 with the Cardinals. Tilson played his first game in August with the Gulf Coast Cards and only played four games there. He was then transferred to the Johnson City Cardinals of the Rookie Level Appalachian League where he also played four games. That was it for the 2011 season.
In 2012, Tilson was ready for his first full season as a professional and probably headed for a short season assignment back at Johnson City. On May 11...
