In a phone interview Tuesday, New York Post columnist Phil Mushnick told me that Yankees owner George Steinbrenner is now "sleeping twenty hours a day" and suffering from "profound dementia."
Mushnick also pointed out that before his article this July that seemed to break the seal on the incapacitated Steinbrenner story, he had written basically the same thing in a Post article last May.
