I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Pete Lauritston for the blog. Pete is currently the hitting coach for the North Iowa Area Community College Trojans as well as the head coach for the Waterloo Bucks of the Northwoods League. He is entering his 6th season with NIACC. The Trojans are known as one of the premier offensive teams in the country. This summer will be his 2nd as the head coach of the Bucks. Last year the Bucks had a 32-34 record, which saw them just missing out on the playoffs.(SB) NIACC has produced some very talented college baseball players under your tutelage as hitting coach. Do any particular players stick out in your mind? (PL) The offensive players that stick out in my mind that we have had at NIACC are the guys that are hitting junkies.
