Just in time for the Major League Baseball playoffs, and perhaps some new body-styling TV spot from Gillette, Braves outfielders Justin and B.J. Upton are appearing with supermodel Kate Upton on the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated. B.J. and Justin Upton made history back in April with Atlanta, becoming the first brothers duo to belt the game-tying and game-winning homers in the ninth inning of the same game. As for their "long-lost cousin" Kate Upton (as SI puts it), the Florida-born, Michigan-raised blonde bombshell donning a Braves jersey for the cover shot can regularly be found on elite-model fashion runways, TV commercials (Gillete, Carl's Jr, CoverGirl, etc.), late-night talk shows and the occasional feature-length film (Three Stooges, Tower Heist and The Other Woman, due next year). According to MediaMass, Upton is currently America's highest-paid supermodel, with 2013 earnings in the neighborhood of 82 million this year. One more thing: All three Uptons are in their 20s ... and apparently willing to take the heat for falling victim to the infamous "Sports Illustrated Jinx" should the Braves, the No. 2 seed in the National League playoffs, come up short in their bid to make the World Series.
