I guess the United States has officially started caring about soccer, so much so that some thought that anger over Sunday’s Women’s World Cup Final result somehow managed to spill into the middle of a Milwaukee Brewers v. Colorado Rockies game after an incident occurred during the bottom of the seventh inning involving usually mild-mannered Brewers reliever Takashi Saito.After the Rockies’ Carlos Gonzalez had flied out for the second out of the inning, Saito asked for the home plate umpire’s attention and started making gestures with his pitching hand and pointing towards the stands. Saito’s interpreter along with manager Ron Roenicke and a couple of his teammates came out to quell the situation.While facing the following batter, Dexter Fowler, Saito again stopped and again made motions towards the box seats, apparently one fan in particular, and again the interpreter, Roenicke, and teammates came out before order was again restored.Saito then refocused...
