TBS announced today the first two months of its “Sunday MLB on TBS” schedule for the 2009 season. The package, which includes match-ups on TBS every Sunday afternoon throughout the regular season, includes multiple appearances by the New York Yankees (April 19, May 17 and May 31), Boston Red Sox (May 3 and May 24), New York Mets (April 12 and May 24) and the 2008 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies (April 26 and May 10). The network will also exclusively televise the 2009 MLB All-Star Selection Show on Sunday, July 5th and in October, TBS will once again provide exclusive coverage of all four MLB Division Series (DS) and the National League Championship Series (NLCS). “Sunday MLB on TBS” leads off with David Wright and the New York Mets taking on Hanley Ramirez and the Florida Marlins on Sunday, April 12th at 1 p.m. ET.
