Following today's embarrassing opening day loss to the Cleveland Indians, Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira had a cortisone shot in his left wrist, hoping it would help relieve the pain."It's been lingering for a week. It's too long for me," Teixeira said. "I hate missing any time. I've had to battle through it. Hopefully this will put it over the top."I don't know if it's because of the wrist but he looks terrible at the plate, hopefully the shot does something to help him.
