Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland made a guest appearance on WFFA-TV news in Dallas on Friday to pose as a weatherman.
Holland strolled onto the set as a surprise guest of WFFA meteorologist Pete Delkus and took over during the weather segment. Holland struggled with the controls, but did manage to get a few laughs. He threw in a brief Harry Carey impersonation, but mostly Holland made his way through the segment by pointing at the map and saying "Would you just look at that? Just look at it." At the end of the segment, Holland took off his hoodie so he could stroll on set with a green shirt underneath so his chest could disappear into the weather map on camera.
Holland's impromptu impressions during the World Series were a little better, but this is still worth a look.
