The Phillies finished off the 2009 regular season today in about as exciting a fashion a bunch of bench players could hope for. Paul Hoover was the hero with a walk off single in extras.
The opponent is set as the Phillies will play a rematch of sorts with the Rockies who swept them in the 2007 postseason. First pitch on Wednesday at Citizens Bank Park is set for 2:37 p.m. Thursday's game two will also start at 2:37 p.m. before a late 9:37 p.m. start Saturday in Colorado for game three.
Meaningful baseball is back in Philadelphia. I can't wait for the repeat attempt. So, uh... who has my extra?
