Alejandro De Aza is an outfielder for the Chicago White Sox, for those who don’t know. He is also the 16th overall ranked player in standard ESPN leagues and the 9th ranked outfielder. He sports a .310 batting average, 26 RBI’s, 13 SB’s and an absurd 43 runs. The only problem is that nobody outside of Chicago – or those who have him on their fantasy teams – have any idea who Alejandro De Aza is.

There are a lot of players like this – guys who contribute in every category, yet nobody knows who the hell they are. Essentially making these players un-tradeable because people tend to make trades based on name recognition. Even though De Aza has been a fantasy beast this season, I can’t seem to find anybody who wants him. But maybe I’m looking at it from the wrong angle. Maybe I should be targeting players like De Aza on other teams and offering up bigger name players who are underperforming for these relative unknowns.

I scowered the player rankings and compiled a list of some guys that fly under the radar. If you’ve got an under-performing superstar whose name has a little something behind it (I’m looking at you, Adrian Gonzalez), maybe consider trying to get one of these players via trade.

Michael Bourn, ATL OF – .317, 42 R, 6 HR, 20 RBI, 16 SB

Edwin Encarnacion, TOR 3B,1B, OF – .283, 32 R, 17 HR, 43 RBI, 6 SB

Lance Lynn, STL SP – (9-2), 74 K, 2.66 ERA, 1.14 WHIP

Jose Altuve, HOU 2B – .325, 37 R, 3 HR, 19 RBI, 9 SB

Melky Cabrera, SF OF – .364, 44 R, 4 HR, 28 RBI, 10 SB
