Brown impressive in Triple A home debut

I had a chance to see Domonic Brown in action for my first time last night. I provided live tweet updates on Brown (and J.A. Happ) throughout the night while taking cell phone quality photos and video with… my cell phone.
I was so amazed by Domonic Brown's homer that I totally forgot there was another batter on base. It was actually 2-0 after that home run!
As I wrote on Second String Thoughts this morning, Brown did nothing to question his top ranking by Keith Law among minor league prospects. Nothing. In fact he did everything to demonstrate why he is the best prospect in the minor leagues by showing off his speed, power, patience and glove. He hit a home run, he scored from first, he stole second and advanced to third on an error. There was nothing that Brown didn’t do last night as far as I am concerned.
Unfortunately Brown decided to rip a long drive to right field a pitch before I was preparing to shoot a cell phone video, but the photo above was taken a split second before Brown delivered. But I know there are some of you begging for more, so I’ll see if I can satisfy you and give you the look I had from Coca-Cola Park. Sorry, but with a cell phone this was the best I could do last night.
