Bonds
As soon as the Toronto Blue Jays released Frank Thomas rumors began to fly that they would be interested in Barry Bonds. Talk of Bonds in a Jays uniform has silenced, but if they hope to contend this season they should seriously consider bringing in baseball's home run king.

  • can barry play first base? the phillies need barry bonds! ryan howard is a $10M piece of sub .200 garbage!
  • HA!
If you don't mind him staying in one place the entire time.
  • Yet another overweight slugger whose game is sliding.
  • People have slumps... Give him time he will be back up soon enough. Why would the Jays release an old washed up vet just to pick up an old washed up vet???

  • the jays should go after hank aaron. they can make deals with opposing pitchers in the league to give him BP caliber tosses so he can reclaim his title as homerun king.
  • Perhaps we shouldn't lower ourselves to Bonds' level and cut him some slack. He's been through an awful lot. I'm speaking as a Christian if I were Muslim I may have .......by now.
  • There is no way around the sexiness of this story, but is it in the cards? The heat felt by Blue Jays GM JP Riccardi would have to reach epic levels for him to pull the trigger on this deal. Levels are currently nearing epic... so stay tuned.
