The Cleveland Indians Justin Masterson got win number 12 today as the Cleveland Indians completed the sweep of the Minnesota twins this afternoon. The Indians may not be playing for a division title any longer this season, however the Tribe’s players are in a race of their own. The Indians are playing for second place and a winning record, you might say these guys are playing for pride. The Indians could have given up this afternoon trialing the Twins 3-0 after six innings.
Then the Indians offense mounted a seventh inning charge like they were back at little big horn. The Indians erupted for a 6 run seventh inning to take the lead over the Minnesota Twins 6-3. Shelly Duncan helped secure the win for Just Masterson today after Masterson gave a solid six inning effort. Not many times this year has the Indians offense helped Masterson to a win. Masterson has pitched solid all year only to watch the Tribe drop games due to a complete disappearance of any Tribe offense.
