The Colorado Rockies have underwent a lot of change since last September and a lot of it is positive. Here is a look at the new guys for 2012: In the field: The Rockies could have four new starters in 2012 in the field. Ramon Hernandez is the likely starting catcher for the Rockies and he should love playing at Coors Field. Michael Cuddyer will be the new RF for the Rockies in 2012. He is a very solid middle of the order hitter who will give the Rockies more thump from the right side. 3B Casey Blake will get a shot to compete for the starting job in spring training. If he can stay healthy, he will be an asset to the Rockies with a bat in his hands. D.J. LeMahieu will have a good shot of winning the starting job at 2B as he came over in the Ian Stewart deal with the Cubs. Brandon Wood and Brendan Harris will try to win backup job on the infield.   • I hope these guys work out. O'Dowd has proven that he can find good pitchers, but he is has been a bust at finding fielders who can hit. His love of huge, wasted swings has been his downfall. I hope he learns that some part of of a batting order just needs to put the ball in play and get on base.
