The Colorado Rockies have five free agents after the World Series is over. Here is who I see staying and leaving out of this bunch: Mark Ellis: 34-year old righty swinging 2B Mark Ellis played in 70 games for the Rockies last year and he was 72 for 263 (.274 avg, .708 OPS) with 34 runs scored, 6 homers, 25 RBIs and 7 stolen bases. He played in 132 games overall for the A’s & Rockies last year and he was 119 of 480 (.248 avg, .634 OPS) with 55 runs scored, 7 homers, 41 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. PREDICTION: STAYING Jason Giambi: 40-year old lefty swinging 1B Jason Giambi played in 64 games for the Rockies last year and he was 34 for 131 (.260 avg, .958 OPS) with 20 runs scored, 13 homers and 32 RBIs. Giambi and the Rockies have a mutual option worth $1 million bucks for 2012 with a $150,000 buyout.
