The Chicago White Sox and their fans have little to root for this year. It was an odd offseason for General Manager Kenny Williams, as he flipped key players like closer Sergio Santos and outfielder Carlos Quentin and was forced to rebuild the team. No longer the favourites in the AL Central, the White Sox fans let management know how they felt during a recent SoxFest event. Channelling his inner Sean Connery, bench coach Mark Parent made a surprising statement to the crowd:
“You hit our guy, we’ll hit your guy,” said new bench coach Mark Parent, whose reply was met with scattered applause.
