The Dog Days of Late Spring?

At it stands today the Mets are 36-28, with the 3rd best record in the National League with a two game lead over both the Braves and Phillies. About a month ago I remember a reporter on MLB.com stating how the Yankees can take a lesson from the Mets, and have some fun out there. When the Mets were winning, you could see the joy coming out of the dugout onto the field. It seems the Yankees have taken some of this. It's up to the leaders of this Mets ball club to find it again. The Braves aren't going to go away, and the Phillies are on fire. It's time for the Mets to get their heads in the game and play the brand of baseball of which they're capable.
