Jake Fox continued crushing Triple-A pitching on Monday night. Fox was named PCL Hitter of the Week Monday afternoon then went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, four RBI and his 17th home run of the season...a three-run shot in the seventh inning. Fox started behind the plate on Monday night for the Iowa Cubs, his third different position in the field over the past week. After 34 games, Fox is hitting .429 with a .513 OBP and a .968 slugging percentage...that is a 1.482 OPS for those scoring at home. Fox is leading the Pacific Coast League in average, home runs, RBI, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, extra base hits and runs scored. In 126 at bats, Fox has 13 doubles, two triples, 17 home runs, 50 RBI and 122 total bases.
